Atlantic Airways always puts safety first and has decided to ban the use of or charging of the device onboard our aircraft as a precautionary safety measure.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7
The device is not allowed in checked baggage, but may be carried onboard as long as it is not used or charged.

Due to recent incidents with the latest version of Samsung Galaxy Note 7; where users have reported smartphones catching fire or exploding while charging. Samsung is recalling devices and FAA (the American Federal Aviation Administration) strongly advises passengers not to turn on or charge these devices on board aircraft and not to stow them in any checked baggage.
